I approximate yous nor she read the tube that says do non apply on cats Most sprays from dollar tree are natural products. With that being said cats are reactive to certain essential oils and chemicals dogs are not.

I would never trust anything from the Dollar Store for my kitties and dogs. I only buy from my Vet.
People's republic of china? Betcha it is from there, it seems to me that they are trying to impale our pets.

i, Don, propose that we NEVER buy Whatever food from Communist china. They have petty or NO quality command. Also, there is severe pollution in many parts of that land.

Y'all tin can non use a dog'south flea medicine on cats, period. It doesn't matter if information technology comes from the dollar store or from the vet. Don't do it.

Bonnie, You are a nice person for helping that poor girl.What a horrible situation. I have allways treated products from underdeveloped country'due south with suspicion. I deceit understand how products that do not meet our country's stringent production standards,are allowed to exist shipped into this country.
This may not exist the example however, Flea powder is poison. It is meant to kill, Information technology just depends on the dose. Cats volition lick it off.

Ive used flea collars on my cats all the fourth dimension they lived a long life , but on the other hand my new true cat got sick from the liquid i used on my small dog she must have licked it $ 700 for vet neb give thanks god shes okay only i truly only believe in true cat or dog flea collars non liquid stuff

Hi, thanks for the postings. I did not get the impression that she had used domestic dog medicine on the true cat. I am on concur right at present with the vets part to check on the cat. If they practise not keep me on hold also long, I will say how the cat is.

Had some nasty flea trouble that normal herbal remedies did non work for, so I picked upwardly the three for kitties and one for my dog. I applied them concluding night to each and this morning woke to my kitties, Luna and Magick having what appeared to exist a seizure. They were convulsing, eyes wide and they could stand up. I rushed them to 1 vet who sent me to some other and they are both now in IVs and heaters and have non started moving . I come habitation to find my other cat who had no reactions before shaking and the aforementioned symptoms. It is at present 5pm and Apollo, the domestic dog(7 month old puppy) is lethargic and running a fever. This stuff is horrible!!!

You're absolutely right to say, NEVER use commercial tick and flea control products on your pets if you can help it. The EPA (Environmental Protection Bureau) has recommended many more than controls be put on these products. In the past 5 years, at least 1,600 dogs and cats have died from adverse reactions to them. In 2008 alone, more than 44,000 bad reactions were reported to the EPA.
The biggest shock - regulations effectually these products are quite sketchy. For case, products for pets don't have to be tested on actual pets. (What?!) Many tin exist tested on RATS instead. So flea and tick shampoo, dips or powders that cause tremors, drooling, seizures and worse for your minor dog, can be marketed. The rat was fine in testing.
There is no governing body that regulates the use of flea and tick fighting products. That'south considering they are considered "insecticides" and not medicine or food.
And so please wait for natural or holistic alternatives and if you must use commercial products, exist very, very conscientious with dosages.

Y'all tin can not purchase flea drops that are made for dogs and put it on cats. Same goes for you can't buy true cat flea drops and use information technology on dogs.
The meds are specifically for i brute unless stated on bundle it tin can be used for both which is very rare.

I lost a true cat recently we put liquid on their necks for fleas nosotros had used it before without whatever problem unfortunately she had seizures a real bad nonstop one for hrs on a Dominicus all the vets almost by were closed and didn't take the coin to take her to a vet she didn't come out of it and passed I'k non 100% certain information technology was the medicine cause the other cats were fine merely its a hood possibility :(

If the vet recommended brands were more affordable, this poor kitty wouldn't accept suffered. Some of these products are over $100.00!!! How about selling them in unmarried pacs! I could drib $xx.00 easier a month than a $100.00!!!

I of the largest household production manufacturers in the world. I have used it on my darling Coca-Poo, Willow, (Per the instructions) and it seems to be working very well! I just used information technology nature's best and sprayed on carpets and floors and furniture..u sprayed where my brothers 2 dogs lay on in due west. Va.no sooner did that and 4 lilliputian black ticks appeared o them..I ran them down hot h2o..it must work..I bought th et n at dollar tree. Saw the Dane bottle on. Chewy .com.and they r made in the USA

This killed my cat. I put this on my cat not knowing it would die. Y'all are evil people out for a dollar. I put this on my cat from the dollar store thinking it would get rid of the fleas and now information technology has killed my cat. I am calling the Better Business Bureau.

I employ the flea treatment for my dog from the Dollar Tree religiously. It contains Permethrin. This is safe even for humans however it is not safety for cats. It patently warns and States this over and over not to apply this Permethrin Permethrin based product on a cat. This was non a case of the Dollar Tree selling bad flea medicine. This was a instance of a immature girl not reading the instructions and applying it to her true cat. On the other paw the Dollar Tree has a flea treatment for cats and kittens that is completely organic and uses clove oil peppermint oil and a couple of other essential oils. Once once more this is considering you cannot put a canis familiaris treatment on a true cat!

Yes and peppermint oil is very bad for cats...then tell me again how the Dollar tree product is ok to utilize on cats when even a minor search volition generate results telling how bad peppermint oil is for them to fifty-fifty take on their pare, permit lone where another true cat might be able to reach??

Early this morning I treated my cat and kittens with liquid flea treatment. I came home from the store with my cat shaking and foaming from the mouth, right away my mom drove her over to the vet, at this point she was besides bleeding from the oral cavity. The vet said that there is something in Whatsoever kind of flea treatment and sadly my true cat didnt make it. Im warning you lot to not use whatever flea treatment especially from the dollar store! I dont want the same thing to happen to your cat/dog.

You don't put flea medication for a dog on a cat it will impale it. Not Dollar Full general'due south error . Says information technology correct on the package. The owner neglected to read the Instructions before applying the medication.

HOW UNINTELLIGENT ARE PEOPLE? Or peradventure they are merely illiterate. Either way, it is VERY Conspicuously STATED to not use a flea handling for a canis familiaris on a true cat and vice versa. (Vice versa means the other way around) The idiots who did such, should have only ingested information technology themselves, just in a much larger quantity. I would be willing to assume these same people have reproduced and that in and of itself is a MAJOR TRAGEDY.

I Applied bansac from the dollar shop tonight on my dog after nigh an hour he was crying and jumping on top of me hes a huge dog I took him in the shower got it off of him with dish lather the best I could along with pretty much every lather I had in there rinsed him for similar an hour until the water ran cold he seems happier just every then often hes whimpering I feel horrible Im nearly to drench him in baby powder hopefully it will help soak upward the crap my boyfriend claimed to get from cvs only obviously admitted that it was dollar store bought I asked him to pick it up bc I found a fat tick on buddy before today anyway I really hope he doesnt become sick its kind of scary a place would sell that kind of stuff I checked the date information technology wasnt expired it is ment for dogs thirty pounds or more buddy conduct is a hundred and ten pounds a shepherd Timberwolf mix Hes nine years old and idk what I would do if this is the way he dies if he starts seizing at all or foaming at the rima oris Im taking him straight to the vet

The flea production from Dollar Tree is sold at other retailers and is a reputable make. Every bit with ALL treatments, every animal is unlike. Some have no issues and the product works groovy, some take no probs but product doesn't work, some cats volition react poorly from balmy to severe issues. Make sure Whatsoever production you buy, yous know what's in information technology and hash out it with your vet. If yous don't accept a vet so read reviews online.

I have used the abscond treatments from the Dollar shop for years and have never had whatever problems. I accept a 4 yr erstwhile Cat and a 14 twelvemonth one-time Dog. I will telephone call the vet again, give baths abs deep make clean business firm, call the pest control guy, only other then that i dont know what else to do they are taking sentinel and simparica i was told it was ok to requite both at the same fourth dimension but i wanted to be sure and then i gave a twenty-four hour period apart and noticed fleas dying two days subsequently
